Sky High is a film produced by Disney Picures in 2005. This movie was released on July 29 in United States. The film was directed by Mike Mitchell and was writtern by Paul Hernandez, Robert Schooley and Mark McCorkle.

Sky High is a secret school for young superheroes that floats in the sky. Yes, this school is only for those who have a super power. Considering that they will be trained to be superheroes for protecting the world from the evils.

Other facts about Sky High is students with great powers are taught to be heroes, while less capable youngsters are designated as "hero support" and derisively referred to as "sidekicks".

The story begins when the son of two superheroes, Will Stronghold, who just had his freshman year in Sky High. But he did not know what super power he would be. Actually he has not found yet the sign of power that appeared to him. During this time, he was only pretending having it. He did not want to dissapoint his parents.

But in the end, he finally told his parents what the truth is. The truth that he is a sidekick and it was something he proud of. At first his dad was very angry about that. Luckily his wife can calm him down. She said that maybe their son is just a late bloomer, and right, in one situation when Will was underpressure, he finally got his power. Moreover he has both super strength and flight just like his dad and his mom.

With a happy ending story, Will and his parents can defeat the evils that was happening. Will also finally found his true love, and true love itself comes from his best friend.

My second music review about JB's song, Under The Mistletoe. This christmas-themed is the Justin Bieber's latest album which released November 1. Within a few hours, Under The Mistletoe was so trending topic on Twitter.

At first I did not know what the mistletoe is and why mistletoe used as the title of a song. I was trying to figure it out that Mistletoe was a kind of parasitic plant that still grow green in winter and typically used as decorations for Christmas trees.

But after listening and trying to understand its lyrics, I finally got the point of this song. Yes, I'm falling in love at the first time I heard this because the way he took about what a beautiful time Christmas is and all the wonderful traditions and things happening on Christmas and he knows he should be at home doing them with his family, but he knows he'll be under the mistletoe with his girlfirend.

 How sweet!

      As you Gleeks know, Kurt was bullied out of his school last year, and in this episode, he will return to William McKinley High with new boyfriend, Blaine.

      Another story in this episode is Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison) teaches the Glee club a valuable lesson about self-acceptance and embracing what makes you unique through the music of Lady Gaga. Meanwhile, Lauren Zizes (guest star Ashley Fink) and Quinn abray (Dianna Agron) had a competition for the prom queen crown, Ms. Pillsbury (Jayma Mays) confronts her obsessive issues, Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) struggles with a life-altering decision that she intends to have nose job.

      I love the Ms. Pillsbury storyline, the acting, the dialogues, it was fantastic. My favourite performance was definitely the I Feel Pretty/Unpretty song. Kurt's singing was great, and It was also entertaining with surprising Quinn's Lucy kaboosey.

       A song with a sad story but has a strong character which comes from the musical drama Les Miserables. I found out that this song was sang by the character Fantine who recalls the man she had ever loved but he abandoned Fantine and her daughter. In the original French production, it was titled "J'avais rêvé d'une autre vie", which translates as "I dreamed of another life."
      This song also popularized by Susan Boyle, a Scottish singer who performed it in her audition for the third series of the British reality television programme, Britain's Got Talent, and use "I Dreamed a Dream" as a name of her first album.
      The whole song is so fantastic. I love the part of "I had a dream my life would be", and how she dreamed it would be different which in the end, it was not.

Because of the assignment, Jamal asked Forrester to keep helping him for his writing. Forrester accepted it, consider there is something that he can trust Jamal on for not to say anything to anybody about the real he is.

Something unexpected happened. Jamal tells Forrester what he has done and asks him to defend him, but Forrester is angry at Jamal for breaking his promise and refuses. But then this thing can be fixed. And for some reasons, Forrester thanks Jamal for all his help and letting him experience life again.

Another song hits my heart titled Long Distance by Bruno Mars. I just know that you can not find it in any his album because this song is actually one of Brandy's single from her last album "Human". But yes, Bruno Mars was the songwritter of that song. So if you have heard this song which performed by him, it is just his demo version which I think it is so much better than the Brandy's one.

Its lyrics clearly tell us about how it feels when you have someone you love who lives thousand miles away, and trying so hard to keep handling our feelings when you deeply miss your love and want to see them around. All we can do is just nothing just like as descibed "..we're stuck where we are". Because sometimes we can not replace his/her appearence with anything, even photos, or video call.

This song reminds me of my love life because I have been involved in a long distance relationship since August last year. LDR, neither as hard as imagined nor as easy as it seems that you have passed. I bet someday, this distance will only be a history.

Lesson from Steve Jobs

"Life was much easier when Apple were just fruit"

Well, I would never really know about the co-founder Apple Inc., Steve Jobs (unfortunately he has passed away last week), if my teacher did not give this task that I have to watch the video of his speech at Stanford University in 2005 for the graduation commencement. He is just so inspirational person! Who would have thought that someone as spectacular as him never graduated from his college? It makes us wondering about what is the secret behind his success when he was alive?

Steve has three personal stories in which he advocates to follow your heart and doing what you love. The first story is about connecting the dots. We all know his story is legendary. Being adopted at an early age, dropped out of Reed College after the first 6 months, slept on friends' floors, returned coke bottles for 5 cent deposits to buy food, walked 7 miles for good meal once a week.

"You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards", Steve said. It means that we can't see what future brings to us right now, but we can connect what we've got now with the dots and everything we did in the past. Everything deserves a why. That words are implicit out from the Steve's speech, that why we can stand here by now? is the result from what we did in the past.

The second personal story was about love and loss. As we know, Steve was the CEO of Apple Inc., who never got a bachelor degree, an usual human with a big persistence to gain his goals. His life was hard, he live in a rocky way, even it's hard, steve never give up. He was the founder of Apple but he was the one to who got fired by his own company, it became Steve's loss. I know it would really hard for Steve, and think "how can it be?" in my own mind.

But life is all about learning something new, from when he got fired, he started again a new company called NeXT and Pixar. That company grow as the time goes by, and finally Apple cooperate with his company, so he can back again to Apple Inc. Steve called it "love", he got back work with Apple and had a great family. Steve said that "you’ve got to find what you love", and Steve made it. His life stories was a really good teacher. He teach us how to reach our goals, make loss become love, until we've to find what we love, that was really good advice.

The third personal story was about death. We know that someday we'll face the death. For Steve, death comes with fear and chance to make a better one. When someone face to face with his/her own death, there is no reason for not following our heart. Steve teach us how to deal with death, it comes when he diagnosed with a cancer. So for now, we've to choose a right way consider that we’ll face death soon. We can learn so many things from Steve Jobs. Follow our heart, persistence, and never give up are some advice from Steve.

Even Steve already passed away, he was a good teacher. He had built Apple into a big company. Even there isn’t Steve Jobs again, he has already invention his idea in Apple. So thats why he so well-known person in this world. And for his speech and personal stories, I would like to say thanks for that, because I got so many benefit advices to face with problem and how to reach my goals.

My Self As A Person

Hello there! First of all I would like to tell you something that it feels so lucky to be born into a good family on Sept 2nd 1993 named Tisa Indriani, who grown with so many affection from people around, especially from my parents. But how ironic I am, never tell mom and dad directly that I love them so much :'(
God, please just let them know, I am too shy to say about that....

Okay, back to the topic.
I have a dimple on the left cheek and pimple marks right on my face. And If you ask to choose the things I can not live without, the answer would be my glasses. You may say I am physically nerd, because I have a pair of glasses and get braces too. Haha but it does not make me feel nerdy at all. I mean, is it wrong for getting something to help you see, or something to help you fix your teeth to make it better, while it is good for yourself? So, what should I embarass for?

I am just like any other 18-year-old girl who is looking for her identity, but I always say that I am different and limited, not easily upset or offended. But once you hit my anger, even I did not show that I officially hate you, this serious thing will last forever. HAHAHA.

I love my social life but sometimes it can be hard too to make me enjoy it. I am a girl who rather be unknown than starting drama to get attention, or something that can make people look at. I do not know why, I just do not want to be fake for who I am because it feels so weird being loved for who I am not.

Some of my friends call me as "Si Ratu Telat". Yes, when I was in elementary till senior high school, almost every morning I came to school late. Well, I did not say I have problem of time management but I am pretty sure that I am a procrastinator. Mr. Google said, the word procrastination itself actually means "to put off until tomorrow". I often found myself having thoughts like "calm down, you still have enough time to relax your body" or something like "hey, I'm not in a good mood" when I want to do something. 91% of my activities would be decided to be done later from the time I have scheduled. Even PRAY (re: Sholat). How ridiculous, is not it? That is totally a bad habbit. I should appreciate time or I will regret LATER. Time can not be rewind, you may lose every second chance you've had, girl. The time machine has not been created yet, maybe will never exist.

Okay, that's all the things which can describe me as a person.

Have you ever heard about Justin Bieber? Just by hearing its title, we can guess that this song is very touching. The sounds and lyrics are full of emotion. This song is about a guy who used to go out with a girl but he did something wrong, then the girl broke-up with him. She finds another guy and gets in a relationship with him. Now the guy misses her and wants her back, after seeing her do all those things they used to with that new guy.

We all know that regret always come in the end. With this song, we can learn that we have to keep and do not forget to be grateful for everything that we have before it’s gone.

In the end of the year when Christmas Holiday comes, Hollywood never forget to accompany us with the family-themed movies. Everybody's Fine is one of them that is written and directed by Kirk Jones, and stared by Robert De Niro, Drew Barrymore, Sam rockwell, and Kate Beckinsale.

Everybody's Fine itself is not a new story. This film is a remake of an Italian film titled Stanno Tutti Benne (They're All Fine) by director Giuseppe Tornatore, who was released in 1990 and had won much praise from many film critics the world, including a Golden Palm nomination for Tornatore in the arena Cannes Film Festival that year.

This film is about Frank Goode (Robet De Niro), whose wife recently passed away, who miss his four children and wants to have some quality times. He was having a hard time at that time. So he invites them to come visiting him. Before his children canceling the meeting by phone at the last minute, Frank gets everything all set. Like goes out and buys a new grill, expensive wine, and gets the backyard and house all ready.

So since they will not come to see him, he decides to go see them. Based on the news they send, Frank believes that his four children have achieved success as he expected. Unfortunately, his four children had been lying. None of them live decent and even one of them had died without being known by Frank.

This movie makes us realize that life doesn’t always like we want. And believe that everything happens for a reason. Nobody said it would be easy. But we have to keep going when life is getting you down.
